Based in their European head office in the North West, a fantastic authoring opportunity with a Global Contender exists and will truly allow you to broaden your career in a Technical Author role.  Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Author ideally with a LIMS or laboratory background of graduate caliber. You will have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), be well organised, personable and able to work to tight deadlines.  Your past experience as a Technical Author will be allowed to flourish in this global market leading pharmaceutical business.

The ideal Technical Author will thrive in a supportive and friendly working environment and will have stretch to move on to bigger LIMS projects with time.
Maybe you will have a strong Technical Authoring background or experience of working with LIMS in Food Labs, Forensic Labs, Pharmaceuticals Labs, Manufacturing Labs, NHS labs, Petro-chemical Labs or Contract Labs.

Our client is a global market leading pharmaceutical business, this particular informatics department provides management systems either standard or bespoke for Laboratory.

Web-based off the shelf LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) designed for a wide variety of laboratory types operating in many scientific and industrial disciplines. Our client specialise in consolidating disparate business processes into a single, compliant platform with comprehensive reporting, surveillance and networking capabilities.....

Due to expansion an opportunity exists for a high calibre Technical Author ideally with Lab experience that is keen to fuel their career with a TOP Global business contender. Based out of their European Head Office in the North West we are now seeking a Technical Author.  A knowledge of C#, Visual C, oracle or SQL, Visual Studio is essential.

What do i need?
Key Skills Include

• A knowledge of C#, Visual C, oracle or SQL, Visual Studio is essential .
• URS – user requirement specifications.
• FRS – functional requirement specification.
• Leading and driving improvements in processes and project documentation.
• Help manuals.
• Project Management.
• Frequent communication with individuals throughout the organisation.
• Advanced knowledge of Lab processes, LIMS and Laboratory workflows is a bonus yet not essential.
• Full Driving License and willing to travel .
