Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Retail Sales Consultant for their modern showroom based in Clapham. They're looking for someone confident, articulate, and intelligent with impeccable English, strong computer skills, a keen eye for design, and a natural ability to communicate.
This is not a pushy sales environment their premium product range speaks for itself. Your role will be consultative, offering both design and technical guidance. You'll need to explain complex information clearly and concisely, giving customers the confidence to purchase and delivering first-class aftersales support.
The company is one of the UK's leading online suppliers of high-end designer radiators, with physical showrooms in Islington, Clapham, and Brighton. They are a steadily growing business with an ambitious and committed team, looking to expand further across the UK and they want talented individuals to be part of that journey.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting and advising visitors in a high-end retail showroom environment
Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
Providing comprehensive aftersales support
Preparing detailed quotes based on customer needs
Supporting customers with both design ideas and technical knowledge
Working alternate Saturdays (10am-4pm)
An understanding of building structures and heating systems is beneficial, but full training will be provided. As many clients are architects or interior designers, the ability to read and understand architectural plans would be advantageous.

Computer-literate with solid experience using Microsoft Office
Exceptionally articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Confident working both independently and as part of a close-knit team
The Ideal Retail Candidate Might Also Have:
Previous experience in a furniture, bathroom, or kitchen showroom desirable yet not essential
Experience selling luxury products in a retail setting
A genuine interest in interior design and current design trends
Experience opening and closing a retail premises
What's on Offer:
Starting salary of £27,000 - £28,000, depending on experience
Annual performance-related bonus
20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
Company pension scheme
Full-time, 40 hours per week, including alternate Saturdays
