Property Manager

We are looking for an experienced Block Manager / Property Manager who has proven success in the lettings and property management industry.

You will join a dynamic, high-growth lettings business based in Manchester City Centre who are known for their stylish interiors, smart technology and space-saving features! As they're about to double their portfolio, this is a fantastic opportunity to prove yourself and grow with the business over time.

The ideal property Manager will have the following Responsibilities:

*Proficient in residential property management and manage your own portfolio or properties
*You will be the first point of contact for tenant queries, dealing with a variety of tenant concerns and requests in a professional and timely manner
*You will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service.
*Be knowledgeable and aware with relation to costings; what can/cannot be charged to Landlords or investors by working alongside colleagues in the block management team.
*You are expected to be flexible when required, with out-of-hours tenant liaison expected at times.
*Lettings Administration; signing up new tenants, processing tenancy agreements and applications, collecting rents, processing deposit protections, and keeping a log of communications with tenants.
*You will collect rents, keep accurate records of rent accounts and chase any rent arrears by liaising with tenants and guarantors.
*You will manage your own tenants' check-in and check-out process, and ensure a tenant file and application documents have been received
*Property visits and inspections to ensure the tenant is keeping them in good order and to deal with any breaches
*New development launches assistance

You will have:

*You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a busy lettings office
*Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
*Experience with property lettings software
*You will be a naturally upbeat and positive person with a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic
*Excellent spoken and written communication skills
*Exceptional customer service skills
*Strong organisation skills and high attention to detail

Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00
Occasional Saturdays (10:00-17:00) - Rota Basis with a day in the week to take back

What you will get in return:

A Basic Salary of £25,000 - £28,000 DOE
