![]() rpa:vison has completed work on a concept store for Suit Supply at Londonıs new Westfield shopping development. With 26 stores already in Europe Suit Supply wanted to make a splash with its second store in the UK. Designing and delivering a concept that developed the European brand whilst tailoring it to the British market rpa:vision placed the design focus firmly on the uniqueness of the brand identity and the result is far removed from the mahogany clad stereotype of the typical gentleman's outfitter. rpa:vision worked on the concept for the quirky new store directly with Fokke de Jong the Chief Executive of the Dutch menswear chain. The 4,000 sq metres Westfield store is spread over two-floors and at the front of the store is a tailor's work area where shoppers can have their suits altered while they wait. Other elements of the store feature a tie-wall, formed from niches recessed into the perimeter. James Breaks of rpa:vision comments: We have developed a new and exciting concept that is a million miles away from the Jermyn Streetı tailoring image. The brief to rpa:vision was fairly free form, De Jong believing that out of chaos comes true creativity . The store provides a breath of fresh air for this successful European brand, leaving behind all the stuffy Saville Row stereotypes and injecting a savvy (Guy Ritchie type) of quirkiness into the industry.
