Patrick Lewis appointed to Ocado board

Patrick Lewis, partners' counsellor at the John Lewis Partnership, has been appointed to the board of online grocer Ocado.

Lewis is the great-nephew of the partnership's founder John Spedan. He is representing the partnership's pension fund, which owns a 29% stake in Ocado.

Waitrose-owner John Lewis sold its stake in Ocado to its pension fund last year.
