Food & Drink Expo 2010 to offer retail buyers the ultimate business experience

Food & Drink Expo 2010 to offer retail buyers the ultimate business experience

More than 600 individual suppliers will be exhibiting at this year's Food & Drink Expo, confirming the show as the UK's number one exhibition for the food and drink retail sector.

Companies from all over the UK and from more than 25 other countries will be offering thousands of products and services across a range of food and beverage categories at the event, which runs from 21 to 24 March 2010 at the NEC in Birmingham.
Products will be on display from almost every category imaginable, including bakery, dairy, meat and fish, soft drinks, and beer, wines and spirits.

Visitors will also be able to browse thousands of speciality food and drink products in regional pavilions in the Regional & Speciality Area, with exhibitors including Heart of England Fine Foods, Taste of the West, Tastes of Anglia, Deliciouslyorkshire, Food Northwest and North East England Food & Drink Group. The Organic Village, meanwhile, will play host to the very latest innovations in the organic food and beverage sector.

All visitors to the show will receive a discount booklet enabling them to take advantage of exhibitors' special offers at the show, which could save thousands of pounds.

"Food & Drink Expo enables retail buyers to meet and negotiate with hundreds of suppliers all in one place," said Jack Halliday, group sales manager for Food & Drink Expo. "Visitors will be able to do a year's product sourcing all in one day at the UK's most vibrant food and drink trade show, while at the same time picking up new ideas from experts to help them move their own businesses forward."

A showcase for the very latest developments in food and drink products, Food & Drink Expo will run simultaneously with seven other shows:  Foodex, Baking Industry Exhibition, Convenience Retailing Show, International Forecourt & Fuel Equipment Show, Café+, Off Licence Show and Food & Drink Logistics Show.

"By holding such a large range of key exhibitions at the same time and in the same place we are able to offer visitors from the retail sector a unique overview of the entire food and drink supply chain. Food & Drink Expo really is the only event for the whole of the food and drink industry. Make sure you don't miss out."
