El Corte Inglprints retail signage instore with Web dSignShop

El Corte Ingl Spain's largest chain of department stores and hypermarkets, has selected the Web dSignShop signage solution from US-based AccessVia so that it can print retail signs instore.

Web dSignShop is available in Europe through AccessVia's partner Pierhouse, the marketing management specialists, best known for its net.tickIT sign and ticketing solution.

Using centrally-hosted data, Web dSignShop delivers on-demand sign and label printing capabilities to stores via a corporate intranet, or the Internet, without the need for additional instore software to be installed. Stores simply log on and easily print signs and labels, available as ready-made templates. Web dSignShop supports a wide range of retail media, in multiple languages, displaying information in the user-interface before printing.

Based on a flexible architecture for integration, Web dSignShop works with back-end retail applications to produce the right signs with the right price, either printed or electronic. "Support for switching between user interface languages and printing multiple languages on signs is a strong benefit for a company that operates across Europe, the Middle East and South America," says Geoff Clifton, business development director, Pierhouse.

"Web dSignShop has also enabled El Corte Inglto reduce paper waste and production costs, which are important considerations for the environmentally-conscious retailer."
