Coca Cola has taken a £30m minority stake in Innocent Drinks, the UK maker of smoothies. The stake equates to “between 10-20 percent” of the smaller company. "We chose Coca-Cola as our minority investor because as well as providing the funds, they can help us get our products out to more people in more places," say the brand's founders in a written statement. Innocent, founded 10 years ago, sells around 2m smoothies each week.
