Business Development Manager
Location: Nationwide - Cheshire - ALTRINCHAM
Salary: £27,000 + Bonus (OTE £60k) + Car
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and highly driven Business Development Manager. The ideal BDM needs to have a demonstrable track record of success as well as energy, enthusiasm and creativity. Educated ideally to a graduate level the ideal Business Development Manager would be confident and well presented with aspirations to succeed and desire to deliver new business in a rapidly growing, technology driven industry.
 You may already be a, Business Development Manager, or maybe an alternative role – Field Sales Exec, B2b or B2C – whatever sales background you come from…. If you’re driven, money hungry and ready for a new challenge in sales this could be the role for you

The Company
Our client is a massively exciting an innovative fundraising solution company who use technology to challenge the industry event management standards and are fully committed to developing leading edge event management and fundraising solutions for their already impressive client base. The successful New Business Manager will also combine their sales role with exceptional account management; dealing with SME’s up to corporate level clients and must be confident of managing “their” event team at live charitable events.

The Job Role
You will be responsible for...
  • Responsible for The maximisation of sales revenue
  • Generated up to 75 leads per week, however self lead generation and networking is required
  • Contacting potential clients via the telephone and marketing initiatives
  •  Self generating appointments for yourself
  • Meeting clients face to face and presenting the product and closing the sale
  • Working with an Event team to ensure the clients corporate event run smoothly
  • Account management and maximisation of all business you bring in

The Person
The ideal applicant should have...
  • Have a proven track record of success in previous sales role(s)
  • A willingness to combine a new business development role with client retention and development.
  • Be highly consultative with a strong understanding of the sales process from initial lead generation to product presentation and closing skills
  • Possess exceptional face to face sales and negotiation skills
  • Have strong rapport building skills and the ability to develop relationships at all levels
  • Have a positive and outgoing personality
  •  Intelligent, corporate and professional you will be a graduate calibre candidate looking for a genuine career opportunity.
