High Level retail HR leaders to address our 2nd Annual Retail HR Summit

HR visionaries from ASDA, Sainsburys, DSGI, William Hill, QVC, Kwik Fit, Enterprise rent-a-car and Travelodge are coming together on October 8th to debate the latest retail HR strategies at The Retail Bulletin's 2nd Annual Retail HR Summit.

Following on from the massive success of last year's event, this interactive summit will enable Retail HR executives to benchmark their HR strategies and share ideas to enable improved recruitment initiatives, retention and development of key talent and delivery of bottom line results through effective people strategies.

The summit; sponsored by Retail Choice, has been designed to allow a focussed peer group of retail HR executives to network and discuss best practices of their key challenges.

"We've already got an excellent speaker line up at what I'm sure will be another sell out conference" said the summit's producer, Carl Goodman.

Speakers already confirmed for the event include: David Smith, People Director, ASDA, Ben Bengougam, Group Director of Human Resources, DSG international plc, Lee Rhoden, Head of Retail Recruitment, Sainsbury's, David Russell, Group Director of HR, William Hill plc

Dan Kerkel, Head of Corporate Development, QVC UK, John O'Donnell, HR Director, Kwik Fit, Donna Miller, European Human Resources Director, Enterprise rent a car, Chrissie Herbert, Director of HR and Quality Management, Travelodge Hotels.

"We're delighted that ASDA's David Smith will be giving our retention keynote this year as he is one of the HR industry's key players" said The Retail Bulletin's editor, Mark Higgins.

Delegates will find out how to:

  • Drive profits through establishing best practices of retail recruitment.

Maximise company-wide retention in a challenging economy.

Build a differentiated employer brand that attracts and retains talent.

Build retail training, learning & development strategies that add measurable business value.

Drive market share and retention through measurable employee engagement.

Deliver on corporate goals through cost effective succession planning.

Maximise engagement and motivation through effective rewards strategies.

Delegates can expect networking opportunities with HR executives from the UK's highest profile retailers throughout the day.
