One of the North West’s fastest growing businesses requires staff for all functions at their head office

Due to business process re-engineering and culture change we were set the task of delivering a high-volume recruitment campaign covering all roles within their Head office ranging from sales and customer service advisors to marketing executives and IT professionals.
Our client is a leading online electrical retailer that has grown over 500% in the last 4 years making it the 4th fastest growing business in the North West. They were looking for quality recruits across all disciplines in the business within very short timescales due to a company re-structure and required 50 new starters over a 2 month period with relevant skill sets who were in the local area and able to commute to their offices which were in a tricky location.
To deal with such a large volume campaign and fast turn-around we used all the recruitment methods at our disposal such as, Job board advertising, database searching, networking across the local area and Job centre days. As we hadn’t recruited certain roles for the company previously we spent time in the business working alongside people who were doing the role to give us a greater understanding of what we were looking for. Our approach needed to be completely flexible around the client and candidate and with 10 client interview slots to fill every week we needed to go the extra mile resulting in us face-to-face interviewing late into the evening on regular occasions.
After forwarding around 75 suitable candidates to the client over a 7 week period various assessment centres and interviews were conducted resulting in almost 50 offers being made working at a ratio of  1:1.5 which has been maintained ever since. As a result we have been instrumental in our clients continued success and growth and work sole agency for all their recruitment needs.

European market leading high street retailer looking for the best retail talent in the market to fuel huge expansion ........

When taking on a campaign for one of the leading retailers in the UK, who, due to their continued growth required a large volume of ‘grade A’ retail managers in a short space of time you have to exhaust all the candidate attraction tools available, from major job board advertising to direct head-hunting campaigns. Being able to identify candidates who not only have the skill set to over perform in their role but have the character to fit into their unique culture would be a challenge for any company.
Our client is one of Europe’s leading independent retailers with over 2400 stores across 9 countries with huge expansion plans over the next 2 years. Our challenge was to source a large number of high calibre retail managers who had the attributes and personality to drive the business forward after a company re-structure. We were asked to find managers who were extremely sales focussed and people driven with a huge amount of drive and self-motivation.
To attract these candidates we searched our state-of-the-art database which holds more than seven thousand retail management CV’s across the country.  In addition, we advertised the role across all the major job boards with are unique ‘multi-post and track’ facility which enables us to obtain ‘real time’ management reports. We networked off every candidate we had spoken to and conducted in depth head-hunt campaigns.  We ultimatley engaged with hundreds of candidates and fully screened them to assess their suitability, we then narrowed down a shortlist who were fully interviewed and only the successful candidates were later forwarded to the client.
After a tough assessment centre and thorough interview from our client we achieved a hiring ratio of 1:2 which considerably outperformed other agencies working the account. From these candidates offered all started within 2 weeks due to our tight control over notice periods which we managed effectively throughout. The success from this campaign subsequently led to us becoming a sole supplier for the business and we now continue to build a strong relationship.
